IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ALL OFFICERS AND ENLISTED PERSONNEL SERVING
IN LIBERTY ON 08 JUNE 1967 BE AWARDED THE NAVY COMMENDATION MEDAL
WITH COMBAT DISTINGUISHING DEVICE FOR ACTS OF HEROISM.
2. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE NAVY CROSS BE AWARDED TO ICFN DAVID NMN
SKOLAK, USN, B50 17 83, (DECEASED) FOR PERFORMANCE IN THE PRESENCE OF
GREAT DANGER AND PERSONAL RISK THAT DISTINGUISHED HIM CONSPICUOUSLY HIGH
AMONG OTHER OF EQUAL RATE, EXPERIENCE AND RESPONSIBILITY.
3. IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE FOLLOWING
OFFICERS AND ENLISTED PERSONNEL BE AWARDED THE BRONZE STAR MEDAL WITH
COMBAT DISTINGUISHING SERVICE FOR PERFORMANCE OF DUTY ABOVE THAT NORMALLY
